A Campaign Town Hall Q&ACongregation: We have not heard much said during worship about the campaign. Is it doing well?
Campaign Committee: We kicked off the campaign in June with a presentation during worship, followed by three well attended campaign parish meetings. In July, we asked members to prayerfully consider making a campaign pledge prior to the end of September. During October, we suspended campaign publicity so as not to overlap with the church’s Generosity Team messaging. Additional campaign messaging will resume in November.
Congregation: Have a lot of members pledged to the campaign?
Campaign Committee: To date, 16% of the church’s possible giving units have pledged.
Congregation: How much money has been raised so far in the campaign?
Campaign Committee: We have currently raised $141,375, which represents 35% of our total campaign goal.
Congregation: Is it too late to pledge to the campaign?
Campaign Committee: No. You are invited to turn in your campaign pledge anytime. You may download a pledge from our church website at www.visitgpc.com. You may put your pledge in the offering plate.
Congregation: When will the refurbished stained glass window be installed?
Campaign Committee: We expect the colorful refurbished window to be installed by early November.
Congregation: When will other stained glass windows be refurbished?
Campaign Committee: As campaign funds come in, additional windows will be refurbished.
Congregation: Is the sound system working properly? Some speakers are easier to hear than others.
Campaign Committee: The Technology Committee is working closely with our vendor and plans to install additional hardware to improve the quality of sound.
