GPC is looking for Choir Members, Bell Players and Instrumentalists!

Our first Choir practice will be Wednesday, August 30th from 7:00 p.m. — 8:00 p.m. We will be meeting each Wednesday at this time. Please come join us for a fun time!

Dr. Elizabeth Krouse earned the degree Doctor of Musical Arts in Organ Performance from the University of Missouri at Kansas City; the degree Master of Music from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and the Bachelor of Music degree from Corpus Christi State University, now part of Texas A & M. Her experience includes teaching (privately and on the college level); performing; years of service in churches as music director and organist, and composing. Her compositions have been published in Pedalpoint Magazine and The Organist’s Companion. She has completed a transcription for organ of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, scheduled for publication by Wayne Leupold Editions in summer, 2017. Dr. Krouse is the former organist at the Basilica of the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Emmitsburg, MD. She had served as organist for Trinity United Methodist Church in Frederick, MD and Organist for school Masses for St. Maria Goretti High School in Hagerstown, MD. She lives in Hagerstown, MD, where she is active in the local chapter of the American Guild of Organists. She enjoys crafts (plastic canvas needlepoint and crochet); reading (everything, especially mysteries) and old movies and TV shows.
